New Video Clip/Village Board Meeting Today

Ahead of tonight’s meeting of the Patchogue Village Board of Trustees one last clip from its meeting of 3/10/14. Attorney Egan recounts legal victory in federal court after six years of litigation. The issue highlighted here is the issue that Village officials often refer to: housing enforcement as it touches on property owner constitutional rights often becomes a complex and time consuming efforts to enforce as courts weigh public concerns versus private rights.

See video here.

This clip does end with a resident getting up to ask a question and for those interested in seeing that question asked and answered please see the clip on that issue here.

Meeting tonight Monday 3/24/14 at 6 p.m. at Village Hall.  Some top issues: public hearing before any vote to override the 2 percent 2014-15 village Budget tax cap and changes to AA5 end time and a presentation about new programming for the event from James Skidmore.  And much more…

This meeting will be filmed and video will be published later in the week. Look for announcements on the Patch or like our Facebook Page: Patchogue Village Citizens for Open Village Government to stay connected to those videos when they first appear.
