PV Board Video 2/10/14: Sign Issue Top Topic

New video for the Patchogue Village Board of Trustees meeting has now been has been published on YouTube and can be accessed from the website of the Citizens Campaign for Open Village Government. Please see that site for a time line narrative for the events of that meeting to help viewers find those sections of either of the two parts of the video (long meeting) that they might want to see. Past videos of prior Board meetings are also available to be seen. There are in fact almost three dozen videos archived on our site at present that have been filmed over the past 15 months that the Campaign has  been filming public meetings.

There is about an hour of public hearing testimony on the issue of regulating sandwich board placement on village sidewalks with about a dozen different speakers presenting a whole range of views about this subject. Various Board members also commenting. While there has been plenty of news coverage of this issue one thing those print articles cannot do: there is nothing like seeing real events. Of other interest in these videos please see time line references to: two bonds in excess of one million dollars approved indebtedness enacted by the Board, plus continuing coverage of Alive at 5 event planning and also discussions noted in the time line narrative relating to a public safety project nearing a test for a limited part of main street: surveillance cameras of some street views .
