Being held on Wednesday, May 2nd, 7:30pm in the Lobby of The Patchogue Theatreon Main Street, this Summit is an effort to inform the community where we currently stand and what the future holds for this vital piece of Patchogue history.  All are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Joining us will be Mayor Paul Pontieri, members of the Village Board of Trustees and Suffolk County Legislator Rob Calarco , to catch us up on their efforts to have the building saved and moved to new location.

Further, the bulk of the agenda for our summit has been set aside to introduce to the public some exciting potential future uses for the Carnegie Library. Individuals representing The Patchogue-Medford Library, Plaza MAC Cinema Arts and the Greater Patchogue Historical Society will make presentations detailing how they want to revive the Carnegie back as a public benefit and community centerpiece.

We will also have representatives of Tritec and the Village’s hired engineering firm to advise on any technical or logistical concerns regarding the move and future location. Time will also be reserved for those in attendance to ask questions.

We hope everyone can join us on May 2nd as we discuss making a part of Patchogue’s past a part of Patchogue’s future.

We’ve removed the ability to reply as we work to make improvements. Learn more here
