Heat Advisory Issued For Patchogue

92 degree high temperatures may feel 100 to 104 due to humidity.

The National Weather Service issued a heat advisory for southwest Suffolk County on Saturday. Temperatures are expected to hit a high of 93 degrees and may feel as high as 104 degrees due to high humidity. The advisory will remain in effect from 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m.

According to weather.com's Patchogue report, the highest temperatures will hit around 1:00 p.m., creating the feeling of 100 plus degree temperatures for at least two hours.

The advisory recommends that people stay indoors with air conditioning, stay hydrated and check up on relatives and neighbors.
