Photos: Sneaker Bistro Boutique Celebrates Five Years of Business

Patchogue's home for limited edition and exclusive sneakers held an anniversary bash Saturday night into Sunday morning, celebrating five years of business.

Sneaker aficionados from as far as New Jersey, the five boroughs and throughout Long Island consumed the parking lot of Melwood Plaza Saturday night into the early hours of Sunday morning to celebrate the five-year anniversary of .

Throughout the night, the staff, better known as Team Bistro, provided giveaway bags, t-shirts and more, and raffled off numerous pairs of limited edition sneakers, with all raffle proceeds going to the families of the of the Haven Pharmacy tragedy, where four people were killed on Father’s Day.

The soundtrack of the evening was provided by DJ Mickey Knox and DJ Six 3 One, two-thirds of the deejay collective the Bash Bros., and was co-hosted by Vaughn “Ike Infamous” Johnson, the host of the Stony Brook University radio program StreetFM, and Joel “Jonas” Hernandez of Team Bistro.

World-renowned Nike Air Force 1 collector Mayor also made an appearance, and Reme, formerly of the Speed Channel television program Unique Whips, put his graffiti skills to work and painted a special canvas live in the parking lot for the store commemorating the event.
