Valentine’s Day can be made even more special this year with a Singing Valentine from an elegantly dressed Barbershop Quartet.  The Quartets from the Harbormen Chorus will be delivering Singing Valentines to residents and business people in Brookhaven & the Hamptons looking for a fun and exciting way to send a loving Valentine message to their relatives, sweethearts, office staff, special clients or customers.

The cost of a Singing Valentine is only $65.00, and includes two very special songs, a beautiful silk rose, a box of candy (donated by Candyland of East Setauket), and a personalized Valentine card from you.  The Singing Valentines are available for delivery, February 13th & 14th, 2013 from 8:00AM to 8:00PM.  A portion of the proceeds from this once-a-year activity is donated to the chorus’ community project, The Good Shepherd Hospice at St. Charles Hospital in Port Jefferson.  The Harbormen are a 501-C3 registered not-for profit choral organization, and a member of the Brookhaven Arts & Humanities Counsel.

For further information or to place an order (Credit Cards accepted) please call Mr. Valentine at (631) 766-9153.

Your barking dog complaint in North Patchogue is handled by Public Safety, Town of Broohaven. CallRead More them at 451-6161 and they will take action. The first time the owners will be warned, the next time they will receive a summons.

Don't know what the Town ordnance is, but if you live within the Village of Patchogue, I believeRead More there is a "15 minute rule" in the code. Basically, if the dog is barking for more than 15 continuous minutes, it's a violation subject to a fine. Call public safety at 475-1225. Keep in mind it's probably not their first priority (unless the dog has a bad attitude, and is carrying a weapon), but they will be responsive, eventually.
