Suffolk County Radio Club Upcoming October Events

Established in 1947, the Suffolk County Radio Club is the oldest Amateur Radio club on Long Island. Our charter was established around the idea of providing emergency communications to the community during times of natural and man-made disasters. 

SCRC also participates in charity events around Long Island. Our next major event is to join with the Great South Bay Amateur Radio Club during the Hope for the Warrior Run - October 20, 2012 in Lindenhurst NY. For more information about this event, visit the Long Island Hope For The Warriors Run. Our club provides communications along the run in the event of an injury or other special serivice requirements which may arise.
