Community Benefit For Anemic 3-Year-Old Thursday
Katie's Fundraiser will be at Public House 49 Thursday from 7 p.m.-10 p.m.
A benefit event for a three-year-old girl diagnosed with Diamond Blackfan Anemia is taking place Thursday at Public House 49, 49 East Main Street in Patchogue.
According to a press release for the event, Katie Patton received the diagnosis at birth and has undergone more than 65 blood transfusions and will soon undergo surgery for a bone marrow transplant.
Funds raised from the event will help cover some of her medical expenses.
Cost to attend is $15 per person and includes drink specials, buffet and live entertainment. A Chinese auction and 50/50 raffle are also being held as well.
