Ceremony in Honor of Marcelo Lucero

Marcelo Lucero was killed on November 8, 2008 as a result of a hate crime.   This year, his brother, Joselo Lucero, will be organizing a ceremony in honor of his brother on Sunday November 7 @ 3pm at RailRoad Ave. in Patchogue.

A temporary "wall of hope" will be built to display letters, drawings and pictures of changes you would hope to see for peace, harmony and unity.

Joselo would like to ask the youth to create these positive messages and bring them to the ceremony.  There will be time dedicated for these young people to personally hang their message.   Messages of hope can also be directly emailed to joselolucero@yahoo.com.
