Most of you know that I founded the Patchogue Rotary Animal Assisted Therapy (PRAAT) program in 1993 and continue as director.  www.praatinc.org  Carol Knapp helped me immensely with this program and its success is in large part due to her dedicated and generous work.  Carol passed away last September before her time.  She was only 54.  But before she left us she told me (and others) that her last dying wish was to stay with PRAAT and make it the best animal assisted therapy program around.  I have been called to task by an angel!
Carol's children have arranged for a fund raiser in their mother's memory - a lobster fest at Dublin Deck in Patchogue with ALL the proceeds going to PRAAT. Sounds like a great event for a great cause.  Hope to see you there.
