After Chris Pendergast and Tom Coleman arrived at Patchogue's St Joseph's College Wednesday on motorized wheelchairs as part of the 2013 Ride For Life, the school's Recreational Club had a gift for them.
The Recreational Club presented a check for $1,000, that they fundraiser over the course of the school year at various events.
Meghan Sullivan, president of the club, said the largest of these events was a softball game in September that raised around $700.
