Barret Beyer narrowly survived another week on Fox's "Hell's Kitchen" last night as the men's team finally got rid of their apparent nemesis, Dan.

Once again the men lost the first challenge and were forced to take care of host Gordon Ramsay's petting zoo he had created for his restaurant's coming family night. The girls were whisked away to the aquarium in Long Beach for a day of swimming with exotic fish and feeding penguins. The men collectively turned on Dan, despite the fact that Dan's dish, which the men disqualified in the challenge would have been a better candidate than Michael's.

At dinner service the men were in charge of feeding Chef Ramsay's family and things fell apart quickly. Ray almost fed a cold cheeseburger to Ramsay's son, while Beyer nearly served raw chicken to the sous chef's pregnant wife--a potentially deadly mistake.

The women cruised through their dinner service and Chef Ramsay ordered them over to the men's side to help finish the tickets. The women won by a landslide and the men were sent upstairs to nominate two chefs for elimination. They nominated Barret, for his chicken gaffe, and Dan, for his overall lack of team spirit.

Ramsay sent Dan packing, claiming that he didn't want a person who couldn't play well with others to be running his new Vegas restaurant. On his way out he described Beyer as a "weapons grade douchebag." Beyer seemed relieved to see Dan go.

But the trouble may not be over for the Sachem Class of 94' graduate. Previews for next week's episode show Beyer having what looks like a bit of a breakdown and shaves his head clean. Female contestant Nedra quips "He went all Britney Spears on us."
