"NEW NEWS from CCOVG" The Planning Board Meeting Video is now available.

History has been made once again, in our Village.  The first videotaped Planning Board Meeting has been filmed and made publicly available for viewing.  Mr. John Rocco the Planning Board Chairperson, agreed with the Citizens Campaign for Open Village Government and provided the opportunity for the residents to have a firsthand look at how the planning board works without actually going to Village Hall.  The meeting can be viewed at http://www.patchoguevillagecitizens.com.  Some of the topics discussed at this meeting were the seasonal plant establishment that will be operating behind the Bargain Bilge and the construction of a 5 story Assisted Living Facility on Main Street, just east of the Theater.  Please visit the website to see the meeting in its entirety. http://www.patchoguevillagecitizens.com.The meeting is rather, lengthy, but time markers will be provided. 

The videotaping effort has now expanded and the campaign will be taking video of at least one session of each of the various Boards, as to give the public a sense of what the Boards do and how important they are to the Village. The Planning Board meeting is the first of a series of meetings that will be filmed and the CDA (Community Development Agency) is on our schedule for this Thursday, April 4, 2013.
