High density low income housing still at risk of hurting our quality of life.

Don't let the builders an developers shove High Density low income housing down our throats!!!

Don't sit back yet! Another town baord meeting set for tonight {april 24th at 5pm}.

As per Don Seubert, I quote. "Thank you! We held back for now the Developers Big Building Borage. Watch The Town Board Metting of Mar. 29th on ch.18. Everyone from Medford who showed up and those who spoke so well truly made a hugh impact. Those who called the Town Board Members, wrote letters, spoke so frankly and eloquently turned the tide. Your signs, letters to the editor, internet communication and comments on Patchogue Medford Patch etc. continue to raise awareness and make a difference. It will be a long haul."

Medford as well as all the other hamlets are at a crossroad. Everyone must stand up for our enviornment, quality of life and the sustainability of the hamlets of Brookhaven to be a desirable place to live.

Please continue to make signs, call, talk,E-mail your neighbors around Brookhaven to attend the Town hall Meeting tonight at Town Hall at 5pm tonight ( april 24th}. A big turn out will be a bigger statement. Please sign up for the Resolution comment period at 5pm and the public comment period at 6pm.

Without everyone the results could be awful for the Town Of Brookhaven. No one can speak for Brookhaven like the people who live here!!! Even if you don't speak , the fact that you are there in support says volumes. Remember numbers make big statments.

Please support " The Fab Four" , our council people. Tim Mazzei, Dan Panico, Connie Kepert, and Steve Fiore-Rosenfeld in their efforts to enlist the other members of the board  to do the right thing for The Town Of Brookhaven. We need to protect all the waters,  the Carmens river ,and all the town hamlets of Brookhaven .

Looking foward to seeing you all tonight, MaryAnn Pogue-Beilstein.

Amanda, I see you are looking to raise funds. If your interested I can work out a Pampered Chef,Read More fundraiser for you? Your friends and family shop for themselves as they would at a party, but instead of you earning FREE product, you will earn funds. As long as it can be made payable to an organization/team or school. We can set you up on Facebook and everyone orders right from their couch! Let me know :) Patricia S My business page: www.facebook.com/luvz2cook4u

Your barking dog complaint in North Patchogue is handled by Public Safety, Town of Broohaven. CallRead More them at 451-6161 and they will take action. The first time the owners will be warned, the next time they will receive a summons.

Don't know what the Town ordnance is, but if you live within the Village of Patchogue, I believeRead More there is a "15 minute rule" in the code. Basically, if the dog is barking for more than 15 continuous minutes, it's a violation subject to a fine. Call public safety at 475-1225. Keep in mind it's probably not their first priority (unless the dog has a bad attitude, and is carrying a weapon), but they will be responsive, eventually.
