Good news for the Residents of Academy and Hill Street in the Village.
Back in the spring a few Residents met with Trustee Keyes and requested that something be done with Cedar Grove Street between North Ocean Avenue and Maple Avenue. The street was marked, and the Residents were told that the street would be added to the exsisting list.
One Resident's front lawn continuosly gets rutted up and was hoping that the Village would assist with her situation. Being a narrow street, when it rains hard the puddles cover three quarters of the width of the street, and can be quite dangerous. There was hope when the DPW came and marked the street promptly, however at last nights VB meeting, the Residents of that street were told that they didn't make the grade. Hopefully, they will be on the next cut, which won't be for a year or so.
