Battle on the Bay

Does anyone know the real story behind why this great event has left our shores? I have heard conflicts with available support from our Fire Department to Lombardi’s on the Bay flexing its muscle not to disrupt their weekend’s agendas. Or maybe those that rub BOTB were not flexible in their demands. I would hate to think the greater Patchogue and surrounding communities can be held hostage to the influence of any singular entity.
