Local Valpak Franchisee Gives Back to the Community

Bob Mouzakes, franchise owner of Valpak in Eastern Suffolk County has an amazing story for the holidays, as he plays Santa Clause every year at the Stony Brook University Hospital's Christmas party for children who are diagnosed with cancer. This year, he will be at the hospital on Monday, Dec. 16th at 6:00 p.m.; his 6-year old son, Taylor passed away back in 2006 from brain cancer, at the very same hospital. This will be his 8th year playing Santa at the hospital's Christmas party, in addition to delivering donated gifts to children in the hospital on Christmas Eve.

Aside from the holidays, Bob gives back at his local church every Thursday where he hands out food to people in need and he also donates hot food, blankets and socks to the homeless men and woman in Patchogue every Saturday.
