Question: What is your favorite Long Island Craft Beer?

LI is home to nearly a dozen specialty breweries.

An American Craft Beer Week has occurred for the past five years at hundreds of locations throughout the United States, progressively increasing in size and creating a thirsty interest locally.

Patchogue is home to both the , which will be opening a new cask every Friday throughout the summer, and to the which recently won several awards for their signature brews. The Long Island Ale House will soon open its doors on Rt. 112 in Medford.

Nearly a dozen microbreweries and brew pubs specializing in craft beer have become more prominent throughout Long Island in recent years. These breweries, as well as bars and restaurants serving craft beer, drew the first annual Long Island craft beer week to a close on Sunday.

Yea this question is easy! Without a doubt bluepoint brewery! In order would be the: Toxic sludge Rasta Summer ale Hoptical .... Actually maybe you can't put bluepoint beer in any order... Just depends on the day... :)

Blue Point Hoptical and Rasta on cask, Blue Point Oatmeal Stout and Greenport Black Duck Porter for starters. There are so many good ones, I'm just happy Long Island is becoming such a great place for micro and home brewing.
