Worse.. I have been out of work for 2 yrs with no medical benefits or insurance. I finally found a job and it is only part time because no one wants to pay for benefits. I'm still losing money because now I have to drive 52 miles round trip and putting $70 worth of gas to get back and forth to work. And, I took a pay cut as well. So i'd definately say worse.

Pls don't chop off my head but if i may. It has been my observation that it usually takes two to four yrs to undo any offices past offenses. Don't forget WE were in the toilet with the Bush Admin. It wasn't anyone's fault we had to go to war. Also I have noticed that even someone with the best intention in politics, if you don't have support it can't work. I am baffled though I must say that we have some of the most smartest marketers and analysists in the world yet none of them can get it straight? Go figure!!!! Go to U tube and type in "RANT" it is so true. They can't even balance a check book for pity sake. I would also like to thank the RICH for paying more taxes without a fuss. People are good but there is always a bad apple in he bunch. Whether it be a global world or our own back yard we need to get back to kindness and caring for one another. Thank you for the place to expression my opinion.

it has to do with selfishness and greed. i was just told an old boss of mine was making $105,000 a yr when he first started seven yrs ago. he is in the politics part of the company and is now making $350,000 a yrs. so what can he buy that he couldn't with the $105,000? a more expensive house, a more expensive car, a private school for his two daughters, extravagant vacations or a vacation home? a richer neighborhood, where he will only pay more in taxes? granted he worked hardand has a great education but really?? waste. yet our schools are horrible. people and children are hunger.

that is good in theory but you couldn't get everyone on board with that. we the people are millions strong and yet the few win and get it all.

Worse!!! My company went out of business last month. I lost my job of 10 years. 2 weeks later, my husband's company did the same. He was there for 16 years. Neither of us have had any luck looking for work and most of the positions we are applying for will be major pay cuts anyway. We bought a house in late 2005 that we are underwater on now, even though we have over $60k invested. Our mortgage company denied us for a modification under the "making homes affordable" program!?!? We also now have the added expense of health insurance. I'm not sure what we're going to do ...
