Monday- Kindle Fire, Nook Tablet, or Apple iPad?
Readers cast their votes on their favorite tablet this holiday season. The Nook Tablet, Barnes & Noble's latest entry into that hot market, captured 49 percent of the vote, with the Kindle Fire and iPad following at 24 percent and 21 percent, respectively.

Tuesday- Would You Buy Facebook Stock?
We asked readers if they would consider purchasing stock in Facebook, with new reports suggesting the social media giant will go public next year with a valuation of more than $100 billion. By a margin of 69-30 percent, readers said they would buy the stock.
Wednesday- In-State Tuition For Illegal Immigrants?
New York is one of several states that allow undocumented students to pay discounted tuition at state schools. By a solid majority (78-21 percent), Patch readers said they don't agree with that law.
Reader comment: "They may have been raised here, but don't assume they've assumed the American culture or actually know how to speak English. Take a look at the ballot in an election booth, it's in SPANISH! Typically their country of origin is still considered home, the USA is just a source of money to send home. Someone going to college is no longer a minor, they need to stand on their own. College is a 'right', there is no basis for someone here illegally to get a price reduction subsidized by citizen taxpayers."- Jim
Thursday- Happy Holidays or Merry Christmas?
Readers had strong opinions regarding whether people should use the term "Merry Christmas" or something more generic such as "Happy Holidays" or "Season's Greetings" during this time of year. Most readers (69-30) said "Merry Christmas" was the way to go.
Reader comment: "I get SO tired of these people who think we need to change a tradition to be more acceptable to them. Christmas is celebrated by millions, and shouldn't be minimalized or re-created as some "shared event".
