The Spirituality of Johnny Cash

Johnny Cash was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame AND the Country Music Hall of Fame AND the Gospel Music Hall of Fame. He released dozens of albums and received 13 Grammys AND the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award.The U.S. Post Office issued a limited-edition Forever stamp honoring Cash. The film, Walk the Line, gained actor, Joaquin Phoenix, a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Actor and Reese Witherspoon won the Academy Award for Best Actress. ~ See you (hopefully) this coming Sunday at 7pm at at The Spirituality of Johnny Cash at the Congregational Church of Patchogue, 95 East Main Street. Music by Miles to Dayton trio, Dave March, Cassandra House, Claudia Jacobs,Robert Bruey and others. This is NOT a religious event, but one that explored the spirituality in the man and the music. $10 donation is a benefit for the Philippines.
