Brief: High School Evacuated for Bomb Scare

Police say two notes found alluding to bombs in the school.

Patchogue-Medford High School was briefly evacuated Wednesday morning due to bomb threats within the school, Suffolk County Police reported.

Police said that they received a call around 10:10 a.m. regarding the discovery of two notes referencing bombs in the school. The notes were found in the boys bathroom and in a stairwell. The school was evacuated for an investigation, but nothing was found.

Police did not disclose the time nor the duration of the evacuation.
