Cops Nab Reckless Motorcyclists on Expressway

Group of seven riders weave in and out of traffic, careened past 10 exits.

Suffolk County Police on Monday arrested seven motorcyclists from across the region after they tore through the Long Island Expressway, speeding and weaving through traffic for more than 10 exits.

Cops eventually pulled them over on the Farmingville-Medford border, near exit 63, after two motorists called 911 to report he riders' reckless driving on the eastern lane of the highway.

According to police, a highway patrol officer responded and followed the group for 10 exits. When the group reached Exit 63, a second police car pulled in front and stopped the riders.

Edward Gianino, 25, of Farmingdale, Emilio Morales, 28, of Brooklyn, Ian Glass, 20, of Farmingdale, Nicholas Belletti, 28, of Great Neck, Oskar Bucki, 20, of Glendale, David Golaszewski, 20, of Glendale, Victor Dasilva, 33, of Farmingdale were each charged with reckless driving, a misdemeanor.

Police impounded their motorcycles.
