Fire Tears Through Patchogue Home

North Patchogue and Hagerman fire departments are called to control fire on Center Street.

A Patchogue home was was ravaged by a fire Tuesday afternoon.

North Patchogue Fire Department Chief Tom Volpe said the fire began at the Center Street home around 4 p.m.

The was also called to the scene.

The fire was under control before 5 p.m., but not before the home was extensively damaged.

Volpe was not available to comment on scene regarding any other details about the fire.
