Newsday has compiled several of the elections and polling times. Poll locations are at the respective fire departments. Also compiled are the budgets that have been adopted by the fire departments, which were adopted by the boards of commissioners in November.

, 15 Jennings Ave., Patchogue

J. Carter Biggs and Michael Partridge are running against each other for the commissioner seat.

There is also a bond referendum on the ballot to approve $1.5 million in funding for three new fire trucks. Joe Perry, chief of the department, told Patch that one of the trucks the board is looking to replace has been in service since 1983, and the other two are 18 years old. H. Daniel Gillette, the outgoing board commissioner, said that the board wants to make the purchase now as they have been able to receive a large discount on the trucks, lowering the price of each truck from $525,000 to about $491,000-$497,000. The trucks would be paid for over 10 years at a rate of about $115,000 a year.
