Laffer Indicted in Pharmacy Murders

Specific charges not yet released.

A Medford man accused of gunning down four people in a on Father's Day has been indicted, according to the Suffolk County DA's office.

The specific charges handed up by a grand jury have not been released, but David Laffer, 33, was last week on charges of first degree murder and resisting arrest. 

Laffer did not appear in a Central Islip court Tuesday during a hearing on the case.

The shootings at Haven Drugs in Medford on June 19 left four people dead, including a 17-year-old just  before from her senior prom. 

Laffer's wife, Melinda Brady, also faces in connection with the shootings. Brady, who police say Laffer to and from the scene of the murders, pled not guilty last week to charges of third degree robbery and obstructing governmental administration.

Brady, 29, has not been indicted yet, but prosecutors have said the charges against her are "very likely" to be upgraded.
