Medford Bank Robbed By Man

Suspect seen entering the TD Bank Sunday afternoon.

A robbery occurred at the Medford TD Bank at 1806 Route 112 on Sunday, Suffolk County Police reported.

At approximately 3:20 p.m., police said a man entered the bank and handed the teller a note demanding an unspecified amount of money. The bank teller gave the man cash. The suspect left the bank and was last seen heading westbound on Southaven Avenue on foot.

Police described the suspect as a white male between 25 to 30 years of age, 5-feet 8-inches tall with short dark hair and a goatee. The suspect was wearing dark sunglasses, a black ski cap, jeans and a dark-colored windbreaker.

The incident is under investigation.
