Medford Crime Report: Burglaries, Prostitution Arrests

A look at recent crime in the 11763 zip code.

The following information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.

Incidents

  • An incident of grand larceny, in which power tools were stolen from a shed, was reported on Whitman Drive on Nov. 25.

  • An incident of aggravated harassment was reported on Southaven Avenue on Nov. 27. 

  • A burglary was reported on Euclid Avenue on Nov. 28.

  • An incident of criminal mischief was reported on Virginia Drive on Nov. 28. 

  • An incident of grand larceny was reported on Long Island Avenue on Nov. 28.

  • A burglary was reported on Watch Hill Avenue on Nov. 30. 

  • Arrests

    • Yorceli Velazquez Guzman, of Queens, was arrested in Medford on Nov. 24 on a charge of loitering:prostitution 1st offense. Guzman, 27, was arrested on Richmond Avenue for loitering in a residence where prostitution was taking place. 

    • Sandra Morantamatos, of Brooklyn, was arrested in Medford on a charge of prostitution. Morantamatos, 40, was arrested on Nov. 24 at 5:45 p.m. on Richmond Avenue for having sexual relations with multiple men in exchange for money. 

    • Eric Krems, of Bay Shore, was arrested in Medford on Nov. 25 on a charge of grand larceny: value of property > $1,000 and petty larceny. 

    • Stephen Cambria Jr., of Medford, was arrested in Medford on Nov. 30 on a charge of 1st degree robbery:displays firearm.
