Sixth squad detectives say the Farmingville heist took place on January 13 at around 10 a.m., when the suspect pictured above walked into Envios Espinoza displaying what appeared to ba hand gun and demanded money from the cashier. The next day, at around 3 p.m. the same suspect entered an Envios store on Middle Country Road in Coram in the same manner.

In both instances the cashiers complied with his demand and the suspect fled without incident.

According to police, the suspect spoke Spanish during the robbery and is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 6 feet tall. In the Farmingville robbery, the suspect was wearing a pullover hooded sweatshirt with yellow writing and blue jeans. He fled the robbery in a white compact four-door vehicle, possibly a Nissan Sentra or a Toyota Corolla.

In the Coram robbery, the man fled in the same vehicle and wore the same clothes but also wore a blue vest with a five-point star on the back, police say.

The sixth precinct is asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1 (800) 220-TIPS.
