Overturned Vehicle Knocks Out Power

A car crashed into a utility pole, knocking it down.

A passenger car hit into a utility pole on Lillian Place in Patchogue, temporarily knocking out power to the nearby houses, Sunday at approximately 11:30 a.m.

The driver was transported to Brookhaven Memorial Hospital. No other injuries were reported by Suffolk County Police. Police blockaded the road due to the downed pole.
