Police: $1.5K Charged To Credit Card Stolen In Medford

Card stolen from Country Fair parking lot used at Lowe's, police said.

A man suspected of using a credit card stolen from a 2012 Hyundai parked at Country Fair Entertainment Park in Medford is being sought out by Suffolk County Police.

According to a Monday police announcement, an unknown person broke into the Hyundai parked at the 3351 Route 112 entertainment facility on Aug. 24, taking a pocketbook containing the credit card.

Police say the card was used to buy nearly $1,500 at Lowes in Medford a short time later.

Police are asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential. A cash reward of up to $5,000 is being awarded by Suffolk County Crime Stoppers for information leading to an arrest.
