Police: Boat Taking On Water Towed Into Patchogue River

SCPD Marine Bureau tows vessel out of Great South Bay.

A 21-foot vessel that was taking on water in the Great South Bay Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. was towed into Patchogue River by Suffolk County Police Marine Bureau.

According to police, the boat’s own pumps were able to get rid of the water onboard.

The boat was then towed to Patchogue River by the Marine bureau.
