(Update) Police: Body Found in Burning Vehicle IDed

The body of Felix Roberto Hidalgo Jacquez, 40, of Brooklyn was found in a burning vehicle in Medford on Sunday, says SCPD.

A Brooklyn man was identified as the body found in a burning vehicle in Medford on Sunday, reports Suffolk County Police.

The body of Felix Roberto Hidalgo Jacquez, 40, of Brooklyn, was found inside of the vehicle according to police. As previously , the car Hidalgo was found inside of was reported on fire at 2265 Route 112 in Medford on Sunday at 3:30 p.m.

Jacquez reportedly died of a gunshot wound, police said in reports by Newsday and the Associated Press.

The investigation is continuing. Detectives are asking anyone with information regarding the incident to contact the Homicide Squad at 631-852-6392.
