Police: Coram Woman Charged With DWI in Medford

Car nearly hits a utility pole after not maintaining spot in lane on Peconic Avenue.

A 31-year-old Coram woman was charged with driving while intoxicated due to failing to maintain her lane on Peconic Avenue in Medford Friday morning, Suffolk County Police said.

The woman, who was not identified, was driving a 2002 Ford Explorer eastbound on the street, and almost struck a utility pole.
