Police: Man Exposes Himself To Teen In Medford Parking Lot

35-year-old charged with committing a lewd act and exposing himself, says police.

A 35-year-old man was arrested Sunday night on charges of exposing himself and committing a lewd act in front of an 18-year-old female at Medford’s Sunshine Square strip mall on June 6, Suffolk County Police said.

Police say Justin Curry of Medford was sitting in a gray 2013 Chevrolet Cruz on June 6 parked at the 700 Patchogue-Yaphank Road shopping center, when he called the teen over around 2 p.m. When she approached the car, police say he allegedly exposed himself and committed a lewd act in front of the woman, who fled and called police.

Curry was arrested Sunday at 9 p.m. after an investigation by Fifth Squad detectives. He was charged with public lewdness, a misdemeanor under New York State Penal Law. Curry was arraigned Monday morning at First District Court in Central Islip.
