Police: Man Fatally Stabs Ex-Girlfriend in E. Patchogue

Denny Turcios-Reyes, 18, is charged with second degree murder following stabbing of Jasmine Davis, who lived in Artspace Patchogue.

An East Patchogue man stabbed his ex-girlfriend to death Tuesday night, police said.  

Police say they received a call at 10:46 p.m. that a woman had been stabbed outside on Amsterdam Avenue in East Patchogue. When officers arrived on the scene, Jasmine Davis, 20, was found to have "multiple stabs wounds to her torso," police said.

Davis, a 2010 Patchogue-Medford High School graduate who lived in an apartment at 20 Terry Street, the address of Artspace Patchogue, was transported to Brookhaven Memorial Hospital Center, where she was pronounced dead.

Davis' ex-boyfriend, Denny Turcios-Reyes, 18, of East Patchogue, was arrested and charged with second degree murder.

Turcios-Reyes will be arraigned Wednesday at First District Court in Central Islip.
