Police: Medford Man Arrested on DWI Charge, Possession of Ecstasy

Matthew Grady, 24, faces multiple charges after being pulled over in Nassau County early Saturday, State Police say.

A Medford man was arrested on a driving while intoxicated charge early Saturday morning after being pulled over on the Southern State Parkway, State Police said.

Matthew Grady, 24, was pulled over just before 4 a.m. in Wantagh for driving 35 mph in a 55 mph zone and for failing to dim the headlights of his Toyota, police said.

Troopers at the scene detected the odor of alcohol while questioning Grady, who police say also had watery and bloodshot eyes. Grady failed sobriety tests and was then arrested for DWI, according to police.
