Police Release Photos of Man Wanted in E. Patchogue Stabbing

Stabbing occurred at Plaza La Familia last month.

Police are asking for the public's help to identify and locate the person who stabbed a man at a food store in East Patchogue last month.

On Oct. 23 around 9 p.m. at Plaza La Familia, located at 350 East Main Street, an unknown Hispanic male assaulted a man with his hands and feet and then stabbed him with an unknown object, police said. 

The suspect is described as heavy set, with black hair that is short on both sides, and a tattoo of barbed wire on his right bicep.  He was wearing a white T-shirt and a white baseball cap at the time of the assault, police said. 

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about the crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
