Police Report: Criminal Contempt and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation

Arrests in Patchogue, East Patchogue and Medford from Feb. 19.

The following information is taken from the Suffolk County Police Department's crime blotter. None of the defendants have been convicted of a crime, but were arrested for the charges listed below. A criminal charge is only an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

Patchogue

Rafael Lituma, of Patchogue, was arrested in Patchogue for charges of criminal contempt in the second degree on Feb. 19.

Dominic Nigro, of Mount Sinai, was arrested in Patchogue for charges of grand larceny in the third degree involving property valued over $3,000 on Feb. 19.

Brian Toro, of Mastic, was arrested in Patchogue for charges of driving while intoxicated as a first offense on Feb. 19.

East Patchogue

Mark Sims, of Medford, was arrested in East Patchogue for charges of aggravated unlicensed operation in the second degree with three or more prior suspensions on record on Feb. 19.

Medford

Richard Scavuzzo, of Medford, was arrested in Medford for charges of criminal contempt in the second degree involving disobeying the court on Feb. 19.
