Police Report: Criminal Contempt and Marijuana

Arrests in Patchogue and Medford from Feb. 24.

The following information is taken from the Suffolk County Police Department's crime blotter. None of the defendants have been convicted of a crime, but were arrested for the charges listed below. A criminal charge is only an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

Patchogue

Lee Segers, of West Babylon, was arrested in Patchogue on Feb. 24 and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation in the second degree with three or more prior suspensions.

Angel Sarmiento, of Patchogue, was arrested in Patchogue on Feb. 24 and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle in the third degree.

Brooke Wirshup, of Patchogue, was arrested in Patchogue on Feb. 24 and charged with unlawful possession of marijuana.

Medford

Thomas Sullivan, of Mount Sinai, was arrested in Medford on Feb. 24 and charged with criminal contempt in the second degree involving disobeying the court.
