Police Report: Drug Busts and Assault

Arrests and incidents during July 25 to July 28.

The following information is taken from the Suffolk County Police Department's crime blotter. None of the defendants have been convicted of a crime, but were arrested for the charges listed below. A criminal charge is only an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty. The following arrests were made between July 25-28.

Patchogue

Elizabeth Martinez, of Brentwood, was arrested for petit larceny on July 25.

Jason Bliss, of Patchogue, was arrested for assault with intent to cause physically injury with a weapon on July 26.

A person was arrested for disorderly conduct for obscene language and gestures on July 26.

Calvin Thomas, of Mastic, was arrested for criminal contempt.

Eric Candelario, of Bellport, was arrested for petit larceny on July 28.

Bobby Ortiz, of Shirley, was arrested for petit larceny on July 28.

Rickie Nelson, Jr., of North Bellport, was arrested for criminal contempt in the second degree for disobeying court, criminal possession of controlled substances in the third degree with intent to sell narcotic drugs, and for the unlawful possession of marijuana on July 28.

Medford

Claudie Betts, of Shirley, was arrested for criminal mischief in the third degree involving property that costs more than $250 on July 25.

Christopher Lather, of Greenlawn, was arrested for menacing in the second degree with a weapon on July 26.

Labrina Daves, of Ridge, was arrested for loitering unlawfully using controlled substances on July 27.

Charles Molesi, of Ridge, was arrested for criminal possession of controlled substance in the seventh degree on July 27.

Anthony Daves, of Ridge, was arrested for criminal possession of controlled subtances in the seventh degree on July 27.

Ahmet Atabay, of Medford, was arrested for obstructing government administration in the second degree and for resisting arrest on July 28.

John Williams, of Medford, was arrested for petit larceny.

Animal Martinez, of Medford, was arrested for menacing in the third degree and for harassment in the second degree for physical contact.
