Police Report: Grand Larceny, DWI, Assault

Arrests and incidents during July 22 to July 24.

The following information is taken from the Suffolk County Police Department's crime blotter. None of the defendants have been convicted of a crime, but were arrested for the charges listed below. A criminal charge is only an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty. The following arrests were made between July 22-24.

 Patchogue

 Scott Michel, of Farmingville, was arrested for aggravated harassment in the second degree on July 22.

Anthony DeRosa, of Ronkonkoma, was arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree on July 22.

Nicholas Verdon, of Lake Ronkonkoma, was arrested for aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle for three or more suspensions on July 22.

Tareyton Williams, of Patchogue, was arrested for grand larceny in the fourth degree with a credit card on July 22.

 John Edgar II, of Shirley, was arrested for possession of a hypodermic instrument on July 22.

Alberto Perez, of Centereach, was arrested for criminal mischief for intending to damage property on July 23.

Christian Herrera, of Medford, was arrested for aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle for three or more suspensions on July 23.

David Miles, of Patchogue, was arrested for criminal contempt in the first degree on July 23.

Thomas Kovacs, of Medford, was arrested on charges of driving while intoxicated as a first offense on July 23.

John McGrath was arrested for criminal contempt on July 23.

Joshua Hooper, of East Patchogue, was arrested for assault with the intent of causing physical injury with a weapon on July 24.

Raymond Hooper, of Bellport, was arrested for assault with the intent of causing physical injury with a weapon on July 24.

Nicole DeFlorio, of Smithtown, was arrested on charges of driving while intoxicated as a first offense on July 24.

East Patchogue

Julius Pendleton, of Patchogue, was arrested for assault with the intent of causing physical injury with a weapon and for resisting arrest on July 23.

Chad Tirico, of East Patchogue, was arrested for criminal possession of marijuana in the fifth degree on July 23.

Robert Orazi, of East Patchogue, was arrested for unauthorized use of a vehicle in the third degree on July 24.

Medford

Katherine Kasten, of Kings Park, was arrested for grand larceny in the third degree on July 23.

James O'Brien, of Medford, was arrested for harassment in the second degree with physical contact on July 24.

Felipe Rivera, of Coram, was arrested on charges of driving while intoxicated as a first offense on July 24.
