Police Report: Illegal Discharge of Firearm and DWI

Arrests from Patchogue, East Patchogue and Medford from Feb. 16-17.

The following information is taken from the Suffolk County Police Department's crime blotter. None of the defendants have been convicted of a crime, but were arrested for the charges listed below. A criminal charge is only an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

Patchogue

Christian Penny, of Afton, was arrested in Patchogue for charges of driving while intoxicated as a first offense on Feb. 16.

Ian Viola, of Ronkonkoma, was arrested in Patchogue for charges of criminal possession of controlled substances in the third degree involving narcotic drugs intended for sale on Feb. 16.

Luis Andreu, of Patchogue, was arrested in Patchogue for charges of possession of a forged instrument in the first degree and petit larceny on Feb. 17.

Anthony Lee, of Patchogue, was arrested in Patchogue for charges of aggravated unlicensed operation in the first degree with 10 or more previous suspensions on record on Feb. 17.

Michael Frato, of Holbrook, was arrested in Patchogue for charges of operating a motor vehicle while impaired by drugs in the first degree on Feb. 17.

East Patchogue

Louis Gardella, of East Patchogue, was arrested in East Patchogue for charges of criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree and illegal discharge of firearm on Feb. 16.

Felix Dilones, of Patchogue, was arrested in East Patchogue for charges of driving while intoxicated as a first offense on Feb. 17.

Medford

Rosileide Dasilva, of Newark, was arrested in Medford for charges of prostitution on Feb. 16.

Michael Duffy, of Medford, was arrested in Medford for charges of leaving the scene of a property damage accident on Feb. 17.

Richard Scavuzzo, of Medford, was arrested in Medford for charges of criminal possession of controlled substances in the seventh degree and for criminal contempt in the second degree for disobeying the court on Feb. 17.
