Police Report: New Year's Day

Arrests in Pat-Med from Jan. 1.

The following information is taken from the Suffolk County Police Department's crime blotter. None of the defendants have been convicted of a crime, but were arrested for the charges listed below. A criminal charge is only an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

Patchogue

Desmond Estrict, of Sayville, was arrested in Patchogue for grand larceny in the fourth degree involving property valued over $1,000 on Jan. 1.

Chad Tirico, of East Patchogue, was arrested in Patchogue for aggravated unlicensed operation in the second degree with three or more prior suspensions on Jan. 1.

Hector Nieves, of Patchogue, was arrested in Patchogue for driving while intoxicated with a previous conviction in the last ten years on Jan. 1.

Dana Nicoletti, of Miller Place, was arrested in Patchogue for criminal mischief involving intent to damage property and for petit larceny on Jan. 1.

Claudio Lucero, of Patchogue, was arrested in Patchogue for criminal possession of marijuana in the fifth degree on Jan. 1.

East Patchogue

Jessica Bass, of East Patchogue, was arrested in East Patchogue for menacing in the second degree involving a weapon on Jan. 1.

Medford

Giovanni Mule, of Coram, was arrested in Medford for operation of a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content of .08 of 1 percent as a first offense on Jan. 1.

Kenneth Byrams, of East Patchogue, was arrested in Medford for petit larceny on Jan. 1.
