Police Report: Theft and Forgery

Arrests in Pat-Med from Aug. 16-18.

The following information is taken from the Suffolk County Police Department's crime blotter. None of the defendants have been convicted of a crime, but were arrested for the charges listed below. A criminal charge is only an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty. The following arrests were made between Aug. 16-18.

Patchogue

Manuel Delcid, of Gaithersburg, was arrested in Patchogue for driving while intoxicated as a first offense on Aug. 16.

Shane Burnett, of Patchogue, was arrested in Patchogue for petit larceny on Aug. 16.

Edwin Damrau, of Patchogue, was arrested in Patchogue for unlawful possession of marijuana and for criminal possession of stolen property in the fifth degree on Aug. 17.

Troy Brinkhuis and Julie Dougherty, of Patchogue, were arrested in Patchogue for grand larceny involving a credit card in the fourth degree, possession of a hypodermic instrument and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree on Aug. 17. Brinkhuis was additionally arrested for having his parole revoked.

William Burke, of Patchogue, was arrested in Patchogue for unlawful possession of marijuana on Aug. 18.

Dianne Mermigas, of Holtsville, was arrested in Patchogue for petit larceny on Aug. 18.

Michael Delvecchio, of Shirley, was arrested in Patchogue for two charges of criminal contempt in the second degree for disobeying the court on Aug. 18.

Peter Hernandez, of Manorville, was arrested in Patchogue for forgery in the second degree involving a medical prescription on Aug. 18.

North Patchogue

Nicholas Roman, of Patchogue, was arrested in North Patchogue for criminal mischief for intentionally damaging property on Aug. 17.

East Patchogue

Jamel Turner, of Bellport, was arrested in East Patchogue for leaving an accident and failing to show a license or identification in the first degree on Aug. 16.

Jaime Devine, of East Patchogue, was arrested in East Patchogue for criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree on Aug. 17.

Sean Randall, of East Patchogue, was arrested in East Patchogue for aggravated harassment in the second degree on Aug. 17

Medford

Kyle Schmitt, of West Islip, was arrested in Medford for criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree on Aug. 15.

Raymond Maynes, of Mastic, was arrested in Medford for unlawful possession of marijuana and for harassment in the second degree for physical contact on Aug. 16.

Kerry Donnelly, of East Setauket, was arrested in Medford for aggravated driving while intoxicated with no prior incidents on Aug. 16.
