Police Report: Car Set on Fire, Robbery, Fighting

Arrests and incident reports from Patchogue, East Patchogue and Medford from Feb. 27-28.

The following information is taken from the Suffolk County Police Department's crime blotter. None of the defendants have been convicted of a crime, but were arrested for the charges listed below. A criminal charge is only an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

Patchogue

Peter Cadet, of Cambria Heights, was arrested in Patchogue on Feb. 27 and charged with loitering unlawfully while using controlled substances.

Brian Gagne, of Selden, was arrested in Patchogue on Feb. 27 and charged with criminal possession of controlled substances in the seventh degree.

Julia Occhineri, of Mastic Beach, was arrested in Patchogue on Feb. 27 and charged with petit larceny.

David Lanari, of Patchogue, was arrested in Patchogue on Feb. 28 and charged with robbery in the first degree involving the use of a dangerous instrument.

An incident of burglary in the second degree was reported on Montauk Highway in Patchogue on Feb. 27.

An incident of aggravated harassment in the second degree was reported on S Summit Avenue in Patchogue on Feb. 27.

An incident of criminal mischief in the fourth degree was reported on Main Street in Patchogue on Feb. 28.

An incident of robbery in the first degree involving money was reported on South Ocean Avenue in Patchogue on Feb. 28.

An incident of harassment in the second degree involving two females fighting was reported on River Avenue in Patchogue on Feb. 28.

East Patchogue

An incident of harassment in the second degree involving three adults fighting was reported on Medford Avenue in East Patchogue on Feb. 27.

An incident of criminal mischief in the fourth degree involving a broken-into locked gate was reported on Conklin Avenue in East Patchogue on Feb. 27.

Medford

Tiffany Rodriguez, of Mastic, was arrested in Medford on Feb. 27 and charged with driving while intoxicated as a first offense.

Starr Volz, of Miller Place, was arrested in Medford on Feb. 28 and charged with making graffiti.

An incident of harassment in the second degree was reported on Rustic Avenue in Medford on Feb. 27.

An incident of arson in the third degree involving a vehicle was reported on Route 112 in Medford on Feb. 28.
