Police Seeking Grand Larceny Suspect

Police say suspect used someone else's credit cards to purchase gas in Medford.

Suffolk County Police and Riverhead Police Department are searching for a suspect that stole credit cards used to purchase gas in Medford.

According to police, a woman reported having her car broken into in Baiting Hollow on Dec. 11. Her pocketbook with the credit cards inside were taken.

The same day, police say the cards were allegedly used by the suspect at the Gulf gas station at 3147 Route 112 in Medford.

From surveillance video, police describe the man as a light-skinned black male.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-220-TIPS. A cash reward of up to $5,000 is available for information leading to an arrest. All calls will be kept confidential.
