Police Seeking Help to Find Gas Station Robber

Police are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the man who robbed a gas station in Miller Place last month. 

The man entered the BP gas station, located at 356 Route 25A, on May 27 at approximately 11:05 p.m., displayed what appeared to be a handgun and demanded cash, police said. 

The man fled with money into a Jeep Grand Cherokee, police said. 

The robber is described as a light-skinned Hispanic male, approximately 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-9 and 140-170 pounds. He was wearing a black hat, black shirt, tan shorts, and black ankle-high sneakers at the time of the robbery. 

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.

The robber is described as a light-skinned Hispanic male... with an odd pencil looking complexion. My hat is off to the Politically Correct Sketch Artist. Good job suppressing "Hispanic" facial features. I'm sure this guy will be caught lick-icky split with a drawing like that alone.
