Police Seeking Man Using Counterfeit Money At Patchogue Waldbaums

Man used the fake cash for a Western Union transcation, police said.

Police are searching for an unknown male suspect who allegedly used counterfeit money for a Western Union transaction at the Waldbaums supermarket at 440 West Sunrise Highway in North Patchogue.

According to police, the suspect entered the store on Sept. 29, 2012 at around 6:15 p.m. and used three fake $100 bills to complete the transaction.

Police describe the suspect as a black, average build man with short black hair last seen wearing a light-colored shirt and brown pants.
