Police Seeking Man Who Burglarized 3 Local Businesses

Police are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the man pictured above who they say burglarized three businesses last month.  

According to police, the man broke a glass door and entered the Dollar Tree, located at 167 North Service Road in Patchogue, and fled without proceeds on April 3 at approximately 2:55 a.m. 

A short time later, the suspect broke a side door and entered Metropolis Diner, located at 1711 Route 112 in Medford, and stole cash from a register at approximately 3:30 a.m., police said.

The following day, the man broke into Chachama Grill, located at 655 Montauk Highway in East Patchogue, and took money from the register at 3:15 a.m., police said. 

The burglar is described as black, about 6-foot and with a thin to medium build.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
